a few random things for the dayyyy..
HARD by Rihanna has come up a
couple of times in conversation
over the past week. the funny part
is that it is because people think the
lyrics say "where dem black girls at"
but really it says "where dem bloggers
at" hate to burst the bubble. but its
funny.
I have had a few enlightened moments
this week. my biggest one being that
i KNOW that its sexy if a guy has "a back
bone" -dervived from the sayings that
go along with the spine/back bone when
dealing with someones behavior.
my dad likes to make fun of the tv, which
anyone would know if they watched
one single show with him. tonight we saw
a commercial about "i heart jonas" which
my dad could not comprehend. his whole
thing was why waste your time saying heart
when it takes just as much effort and time to
say love. he didnt understand if they meant
the same thing or not.
also we watched the parent trap-
lindsay lohan version. i'm not sure
if many of you will recall this, but often
the little girls will cross their arms in
front of their chests with their fingers
crossed and like TIGHTLY close their
eyes. my dad decided he would mimic them.
which was AWESOOOOME. a grown man
acted like a supposed 11 year old girl.
super cute and i wish i could have taken a pic
of it to share with you all. my dad is such a nerd!
i just read on a website that some idahoians
(is that what they are called!?) tried to
take a bus of 33 supposed Haitian orphans
to the Dominican Republic - that would
later be followed by more children- to
start an orphanage for the kids? like wtf?
people are so weird these days!
letters? uhm so my bestest friend is on a mish
as im sure you are very aware of and after he
wrote his first letter i responded-it just took like
2 weeks. i was then chastised for taking so long.
so the second time i made sure i got back quickly..
to only have to wait like a MONTH for his next
letter. grr. ha. but at least i got it! then todayyy i
got a letter from another missionaryyy. my good
friend and neighbor of 10 years walker waldie. it
was awesome because i kept having this feeling
that i needed to write him but couldnt figure out
what on earth to write him so needless to say i put
it offffffff. but he wrote me and i was honestly more
excited to hear from him than i would have expected.
next time i ought to listen...dont yah think?!
and last but not least..i was a little disheartened
tonight when i ran to the store quickly
to buy my little primary kids their prize for
being good and i saw some VERRRRRRYYYY
attractive foreigners, i just COULD NOT
understand what language they were speaking.
sad dayyyy :/
