yesterday & today

6/12/10

alright so im behind a day again.
sorry! :)
yesterday was the first world cup
game for mexico! needless to
say our class was very excited! it
was really so cute! da shawn,
nicole, camille, karissa, and i all
bought jerseys the other day
so we wore them to school. everyone
LOVED it. the principal took
a picture with nicole and i as soon
as she saw us. and everyone
was so excited we had mexico pride!
we really loved how excited
everyone was for the days events!
nicole has a video clip of
all the kids freakin out when they
found out that mexico had tied
the game! so check it out!
the teacher of our class also had this
little face painting thing and
did it on all the kids faces, including
nic and i. it was fun!

TODAY:
today we went to costco. and OMG we were
sooo incredibly happy to be there!
we felt at home! and got to buy sooooo
much food. we spent $1090.35..tons right?!
ha well it was pesos so not QUITE as
much as it seems luckily! and then we ate
at the costco food court. YUMMY!
today was really so awesome it will make
this last 3 weeks so much better
for us! also our host family had a BIG
party here today for a relatives
first communion (catholic). nicole and i
were actually asleep for the whole
thing because we got home from costco while
they were at the church. but it was
nice to sleep! we are going out to the
flamanco (spelling?!) tonight.
we really hope its not as terrible as the
last dance thing we went to! and
we found a near by LDS church so that
will be interesting tomorrow! anyway
time to go get ready for the night!

xoxo
