well i took a break from this whole blogging thing...
but guess what im back! i needed something more
to entertian myself with. as of right now, i still dont
have incredibly excited stuff to post buuuuut
im hoping that in a short 8 months ill have
interesting things to post about my time working
in the hospital as a rad tech student. cross our
fingers that i even get there! ha. 3 weeks into
school and i want to die. school is not my thing!
let me recap the first few weeks to catch you up...

week one:
student study skills
...this is a book
....use a highlighter
.....study groups are helpful

homework? oh yeah... thats a joke thus far...

week two:
positioning class
....laying on your back is a SUPINE position
.....images that are too dark are not good
.......blurry pictures are not good

radiology class
....if you smile while talking your voice is more pleasant
......dont be overly touchy
........address older people as MR. MRS. -------

homework? post an answer to the question "whats your patient population bias?"

week three:
position class
.....75 question multiple choice test
.......2 question competency

radiology class
....life expectancy in swaziland is 31yrs old
......homicide is the 15th most common reason
for death in the us
.........cancer costs more than 70mill a year

homework? oh yeah another discussion post...
this time on religion/politics interfering
with pt healthcare


im in school?? oh yeah... weird i almost forgot.

also, i HATE sharing a desk with someone at work.
shes only there 2 afternoons a week and i
feel like she destroys my desk on a daily basis.
i literally reorganize every morning..awesome.
