espanol
currently, trabajo en mi espanol.
i figured since i leave in 13 days that i might need to refresh what little
spanish i know. here is what i am doing..
1. watching podcasts by Sr Keim (my stapley jr high spanish teacher)
2. reading a book i borrowed from my aunt elise..
(mainly just looking for words i dont know, to look up!)
3. playing with these cards my mom has -
one english version of each word
one spanish version of each word
one picture of each word
(i will be taking these to the kids in mexico when i go)
anyway, i am really excited to get there.
and a little nervous.
but i am looking forward to an awesome experience!
i know something you should do! these guys up at school did it so they could learn their mission languages. you cut out little words in spanish of things all over like sink, light, shower, mirror, bed, or just like things all around your house and every day things you do and use, and you tape them by the objects, so every time you use them or see them you'll remember the word! (if thats confusing i'm sorry, its like you would tape the spanish version of sink above the sink where you turn off the sink) idk, it just seems like a good way to go. and what the heck when are you going to mexico!? i want to hear about this girl!!! good luck :)
